Research Interests

As a protein biochemist, I am interested in studying the physiology of coral reef symbiosis on a protein level using the model organism Aiptasia and its symbiont Symbiodinium. We hope to gain insights into the invasion and maintenance pathways that might help us understand better the molecular basis of coral bleaching.
