PhD student currently: Co-founder & CEO at SeedShock
I'm originally a computer scientist who converted to biology (bioinformatics actually)! I got my BS in Computer Software Engineering in México, at the Intituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, Campus Ciudad de México
(ITESM-CCM). I grew up in México City, then I went to Stanford where I studied part of my Master's Degree in Biomedical Informatics. I came to KAUST to finish my master's degree, and I merged again with a new field, so I wil get my degree in
Marine Sciences. I'll start my phd next semester under Dr. Voolstra's supervision.
I'm simply passioned about the use and development of software to study life! My two main topics of interest are Biomedical Informatics and Marine Informatics.
