Symbiodinium may be CO2 limited in stable symbioses

Check out our latest publication by Rädecker, Pogoreutz et al. on the effects of glucose enrichment on the upside-down jellyfish Cassiopeia sp..  The observation of stimulated respiration and photosynthesis adds further evidence that Symbiodinium may be CO2 limited even in stable symbiotic systems.
